Boss 302 LS best Mustang EVER!

That's what the experts at MotorTrend said. The Boss 302 Laguna Seca is the best Mustang that's ever been made.

Although the car finished 5th in their Best Drivers Car competition (11 contenders), it was a strong performer and lost out to cars costing 100k-200k more.

It did loose out to the Cayman which is only slightly more and the GT-R which is only 35-40k more. But more importantly it beat the Lotus Evora S, 1M, Lexus LFA, SLS AMG, Audi R8 GT, and the Z06. By the way, on the first page of the article http://www.motortrend.com/features/p...t_drivers_car/ They have a video of a drag race between all 11 cars, even though the Boss was near the back it was pretty fun to watch.

Funny, my regular Boss didn't lose out to any Caymans this weekend. In fact they were all disappearing into the rear view mirror, along with their big brother GT3s

Haha i get what you are saying, but if it was up to numbers alone the Boss would have fared worse than fifth place. Thats why its so impressive

I wouldn't be too quick to say that. The Boss put up very impressive numbers. I think it had the 6th fastest hot lap at LS- even beating the Cayman (which finished 4th in the final vote).
Bottomline is this car has impressed everyone that's driven it and I don't think I've read any truly negative comments in any of the reviews. I don't think you can say that about any other Mustang review.

Yeah but it has a live rear axle.

Actually, they even mentioned the rear-axle setup as an advantage!

" British TV shows will never admit it, but live axles do have certain advantages. Like being able to put more power down than an independent rear."
