Boss 302 Laguna Seca for Canada
Are you looking for a 2012 or 2013? I believe you can only get a 2012 in Canada. Something to do with the daytime running lights. The LS deletes them for the brake cooling ducts, so they don't meet Canada's specifications for 2013.
I don't knoiw if you could get one in the states and import it. I assume it still has to comply to be plated.
I have heard that Canada is getting harder on emmissions now. You could have to remove a custom tune, if installed, before you can pass the test. If not, then no plates, no driving. Good Luck

There was a brand new silver and red one sitting at Capital Ford in Regina two week ago that had $58,XXX on the banner in the window. It was down from $63,XXX. You may want to check into that one.
The 2013 Mustang GT and Boss 302 are explicitly listed as allowed for importation. The DRL's can be dealt with in a few different ways, depending upon what you are willing to end up with:
- No DRL's (not legal) - The official inspection is um, somewhat flexible. Let's just leave it at that.
- A separate DRL module - can be used to turn on lights of your choice. Not sure I'd want to use the HID's, but you could go with the grille fogs if you don't plan on needing the extra cooling the removable blanking plates offer. You can also go with the lower fogs if brake cooling ducts aren't in your future.
- Revert to 2012 headlights - then now fogs are needed. Can work with a DRL module or integrated as from the factory.
- Programming the car for DRL's - possible on the 2012, probably on the 2013 as well, but it will take some research with a friendly dealer to figure out the code(s).

I called them up and found out it is a used US car. I found a dealer close by that has a brand new LS. Only catch is they want $5k over list! I am willing to pay list, but not over list. Plus there are a lot of BS charges on top of the ADM. I would like a Canadian car if possible, but if I am unable to get one I would consider getting one from the USA. Probably a 2012 LS in Black/Red
I appreciate the lead, thanks.

US car gets you Track ATTACK and a BOSS Package. Canadian car is more cost and gets you nothing extra.

Track attack is for the original owner only. Will work for us Canucks who purchase in the States (it was a blast!)
Owner's package, well that's a bit more tricky...

I am in Toronto.

They don't currently have a Boss, but they are the most straight-up people you can deal with. Have lots of customers from T.O.

I dealt with Paul. Maybe he can find a car in the area for you. If you get a 2012, they already know how to set the DRLs.
