I think you are mistaken

Mine is like the first pic, the one in the second pic look like it was pieced together and has some sort of patch on it. The big difference is the longer flex part and lack of adjustment band on the pipes in the second pic. Anything is possibile but I doubt we had different pipes five cars and one day apart.

we did have different pipes, that second pic is what is on the car because I looked at it closely off the car because it looked complicated to make. i wondered why though would make it flat and not round like the rest of the exhaust. ill ask the new owner and see if he cares to take pics, he may not want to.

Mine are flat also, the angle is different on the pics. The difference is the longer flex area and no adjustment band (both have flat areas). Other then that they are the same. Did yours have the band with the long bolt in it?

Here is what car #190 looks like underneath. Was built in late February. Appears to be the same as picture #1 on this thread.

no it had no bolt, the braided steel sections were much shorter than 0333 too. i asked the new buyer if he minded getting some pics.

If that is the case then it was different for some reason. The band clamp is tack welded on the pipe and the bolt is there to catch on and scratch the trailer going up and down ... oh and also to make adjustments to the pipe. If you loosen it you can separate the pipe into two parts.

You blew it. 0001 was worth more than you thought.
