Every time I email the Canadian Customer Service, they tell me misinformation.
1. They are insistent that if I go to my local Ford Dealership they will program my Trackey for me.
2. They are insistent that my Satellite radio came with a trial yet my radio says that No Satellite Radio but cannot address the issue that the windows sticker says Satellite capable means it is not working right now.
3. They are insistent that my hood does not have a problem closing.
4. They are insistent that my clutch and transmission does not clunk when applied at no throttle or any throttle position.
5. They are insistent that my tire cover does not rattle.
6. They are insistent that the paint flaw (red spot under clear coat) is not present on my vehicle.
7. They are insistent that the cup holder is not in the way of my shifter if a cup is placed in it.
8. They are insistent that the Highway mileage of 37 MPG (Canada) posted on the window sticker is achievable but with cruise control on and travelling on the highway at 62 MPH on a flat Prairie highway and only achieving 26 MPG is absolutely wrong.

And all this without seeing the vehicle.

Has anyone else had these problems?
1. Moot, since track key isn't available yet. Dealer issue after it is.

2. Dealer issue.

3. Dealer issue.

4. Dealer issue.

5. Dealer issue.

6. Dealer issue.

7. Design issue, not much can be done about that other than using a different cup.

8. EPA rating / driving style issue, unless there is something mechanically wrong with the car. In that case see answers 1-6 above.

Dealer says Ford will not budge on the issues and is trying to tell Ford not to tell people to go to the dealer for the Trackey as it is NOT available yet.

You make a good point about the Vette. With the asking prices - especially on the LS being in the mid-50's on almost a best case basis.... you can get a mighty fine garage queen Z06 for the same money. Yes, understand that there are many Ford loyalists here (and I'm trying to become one) but some good cars out there for us enthusiats to choose from. Definitely NOT the right time to stop listening to customer input.

Is this your first car?

I would think the window sticker for Canada would be in KM per gallon or liters, would it not ?? When you say you are getting 26 mpg (miles per gallon), that is what it should be getting. Thats what it says for highway gas mileage on the US sticker.

I too find it difficult to close the hood...It wont just drop down and close. I either have to drop it from a distance or use my hand and put some force behind it. I find it a little annoying. No other issues though.

As of 2200km I am averaging 13L / 100km.

I have 2800 KMS on mine and I'm getting 10L/100kms driving at 110kmh. As for the hood I find the same thing that I have to drop it from some distance up. But I just love the car. Also sat radio is not in the car and it does not have a sat ant.

Have you had this car in a dealership service department?

Are you seriously *****ing about the cupholder? Anyone can see it's in the way of the shifter. Its been that way for years. Also you should always drop the hood to close. Any hood for that matter. Its better for the hood. You shouldn't press your hands on the hood to shut it.

If it really is that big of a deal to you, this could have been figured out on the test drive. In any case, neither the dealer nor Ford can do anything about it.

I have owned a few Fords, and in general I have found build quality to be getting better and better. The two Ford dealers I have dealt with in my life have both been nothing short of fantastic. The issued I did have were promptly taken care of with no fuss or hassle. Sorry you seem to be having a hard time - that's just not been my experience.
