Anyone else change their 2012 Boss 302 order to 2013? I had a 4th Quarter 2012 race red Boss on order, there was nothing to think about. I have no intention of tracking my car, but I do drive pretty hard and fast for the street. Also, I will probably keep it until I die. I still have my 85 Mustang GT (with an SVO body, but needs a resto) from college, as well as my modified 99 Flareside 4x4 Supercab Lariat F-150, which is in perfect condition. (my name is on the Ford window sticker for both of them hopefully my Boss will be "tagged" also.)

I had planned on installing the HIDs and the foglights anyway, and I don't see how anyone could be happy with the 2k12 gauge cluster. The stereo obviously has to be replaced for street use and the Kenwoods (my preference) have navigation and bluetooth, so the Sync was not huge, but a nice benefit nonetheless.

If I had the car since they came out, I would be very happy with the 2012. However, I have waited since April, 2011, for my Boss. What is another few months to get exactly what I want? Well almost, leather seats and a glass roof would be nice too. I know, for you track guys this would be a sin, but I don't make my living with track times.

I'm right there with you. Like I've posted before. If the 2012 Boss was available with HID's, SYNC, Leather, etc I would have one in my garage right now. Hopefully they fix that for 2013.

 

My Q3 was scheduled to start its build next week, but I since I ordered Yellow Blaze and it's no longer available I told the dealer that I'd rather just wait and see what comes along for 2013. Nice part is (I guess) that I'll get a Q1 allocation, but since I've already been waiting since February this year it's taking a lot of patience to do so. I feel like if I took delivery of a 12 now knowing what I know about the 13, and in a color I didn't really want, I'd be kicking myself in six months.
