Based on the run numbers for both versions of the 2013 Boss, will availability continue into the actual year of 2013 starting next Jan if the run numbers haven't exhausted during 2012? TIA

 

Likely not. Last year's build finished in December, and we're running a couple of hundred cars ahead of this time last year already.

 

Thank PT. Sounds like any remaiing in 13' will be unsold units still in the dealers hands looking for a home.

 

It will be a good time to shop. There would likely be hints about the 2015 model by then, making the pricing more flexible.

 

I doubt it. Come November/December, dealers will be saying "this is your last chance to own a Boss" and marking them up further. Hell, there are dealers with 2012's still out there and they're asking ADMs on them.

 

Yeah, could see a bit of both senarios in play...but as time wears on something likely will push their hand to move the vehicle and get it off the lot.

 

I think it all boils down to SUPPLY & DEMAND for these cars.

 

Finally the answer to the question as to whether the quarterly production was entirely based on a standard yearly calendar starting on Jan 1, and not moved forward from day one of production the last week in Feb of 2012. Therefore my Q3 build could be scheduled the last week of June for production at the very beginning of July. Hey, somebody has to be built first, might as well be me!

If fact, if the moon and stars align just right, my car could be built on 7/2 (my birthday) and then delivered on 7/27.
