Reality is that it was 1k under but that's still a nice deal. I put this together for a buddy who has a huge collection, 375 plus cars. He's going to just line it up with the dozen or so Boss's that are there. Will post pics when it makes it up there.

When did he buy it and what happened to the $1500 discount?

 

I spoke with Mr. Ramos and he said that he knew of the post stating that but basically it wasn't factual, I asked him what then was the deal. That's what he came back with. Certainly not the best interaction I've had but hey, just wanted one car and that was accomplished.

 

We did a wire transfer yesterday.

 

I'm glad to see it worked out in the end.

 

PACETTR is simply stating that regardless of what the Dealer thought, he did not do his due diligence and even if the invoice lists D Plan, that does not mean it is eligible. Same thing for Chrysler, but if you don't check the Vin number or your qualifications for a D Plan sale, you may get a rude awakening. PACETTR is correct, in that the consumer got one whale of a deal, but the Dealer who did it without checking is going to get a rude surprise as he will ended up selling the car for a big loss - he will not be reimbursed!!
