It's hot here. Dave (90) is in 7th place currently.

All is well if viewed with browser. Nevermind.

Yes very hot and the tires are not liking it. Fast runs for most came on the first runs. Still a great battle from 2nd though 11th and then another from 12th through 17th. A complete mix of cars with 33 Drivers.

Yes, Terry is in 5th less than a tenth in front of me. He has a new cool graphics scheme.

What's with you guys? Letting Terry and his GT beat up on all those Bosses?!

Here's the stripes we did in-house for this year's Solo Nats.

Not to worry... no one busts Terry's bawls more than me about wider D-Force wheel offerings. 10's look so tiny on my car (especially with 305s all around)

Not made in 18x11 or 18x12. The D-Force are a good square setup, but square setups stop at 18x10. And they were perfect for the Street-Tire class we were running before. But ESP doesn't restrain tire sizes like ST does. And iff you are running a 315 Hoosier (like we are) you need an 11" or wider wheel.

That's the Laguna Seca front splitter. The class allows tiny splitters, but it also allows mix-and-match OEM parts and the LS part is the largest splitter we can use. But it's sorta flexible and can break if stood on.

When are not rules constrained and we build them from scratch, they are much stronger. Here's Brianne Corn standing on the front splitter we built for her Pikes Peak competition car.

And a previous shot before the bumper was finished.

Thanks. I see you're now selling Forgestar wheels on your website. So I guess you approve of their quality then. Good to know.

Terry just ended up in 4th for ESP! Amy's wrapped up first in ESP-L!

Terry drove well today. I did ok considering the car would not put power to the ground on corner exit. I had to peddle it most everywhere especially during the Pro Solo Finale. Maintained 7th out of 9 trophy positions. 5th to 7th positions were only .060 apart. Notice a 2007 4.6L smoked us all, baring Mark. I'm more convinced now that the newer S197 chassis will never be able to overcome it's heavy weight even with the extra 100 whp. Me thinks the older chassis is the Mustang to have in Solo. I'll be dropping 120 lbs. by next season to help lesson the deficit.

can you explain the difference between early S197 and newer ones?

I ask because I'm really struggling with taking by boss to the 'next level' and using it as a serious track car...what I'm reading about consumables, heat, and braking capabilities, in particular.

and I'm seeing the advent of 'spec mustang' scca out here on the west coast...based on the 4.6-based cars.

so what do we know about how much and where that weight is?
