I won't disagree with you...but that's pretty reasonably priced for the market really.

I know, seems the 2 piece rotors are alot more than the 1 piece.....may have to price up a 1-piece kit, if anyone sells one.

That would be a "Caliper Kit" where one uses the stock rotor with alternate calipers, pads, brackets, hoses etc. Done more than a few of those. The issues are; lack of a larger disc (unless designed with one from another vehicle) and cost.

You can do a six pot cal kit for perhaps $1100. Then if it's on a larger disc of some sort...another $200 or so. Pretty soon you are rapidly approaching the cost of a full, dedicated big brake kit. With one purchase.

And without the larger disc the value is not there. It becomes a mostly cosmetic change.

I see, thank you for the info. I understand what your saying, all the clamping force without the surface is not worth it. I was hoping someone had a larger kit like Wilwood, just using a 1-piece rotor design rather than a 2. Once I upgrade I will end up with the Wilwood kit then. Thank again!

Please note: Effective immediately TCE will no longer be offering BLUE, YELLOW and SILVER powder coat finish on Wilwood Disc Brakes calipers without an additional fee.

We regret this decision on their behalf as we have found many customers to favor these colors setting their purchase apart from the sea of brake kit options. Future color applications will be considered "custom" and carry a fee up up to $300 per kit (2 calipers) for these colors. We feel this is a ridiculous premium to pay for an alternative color. It's now Black or Red for most buyers.

Because of that we have removed the color palette from the TCE home page and will not be offering this without a consumer request. Sorry folks; it was a nice touch that's gone away. Don't blame me...
