2011 GT aluminum driveshaft now available

Hello Forum Members:

We wanted to make everyone aware that we are now manufacturing single piece aluminum shafts for 2011 V8 GT Manual & Automatic Transmission vehicles.

These shafts feature the same innovative design as our 2005-2010 GT "Direct Bolt In" aluminum driveshafts.

Fits 2011 V8 GT with Manual & Automatic Transmission
A "True" Direct Bolt-in, No adapter plate or replacement pinion flange needed
No need to reset pinion bearing preload
Allows for easy re-installation of OEM shaft when reselling vehicle or when going to
the dealer for warranty issues etc.
Made from all new components
1330 series Spicer, High performance front universal joint
1350 series Spicer, High performance rear universal joint
3.5” X .125” Alcoa 6061-T6 aluminum driveline tubing
14HP peak increase, and 16 ft/lb of torque increase
.21 Second Reduction in 1/4 Mile E.T.
Rated up to 750 RWHP
Reduce rotating mass

What is the top speed (RPM) the shaft is rated for?

what are the Weight Differences, had a Few folks say that the Factory one is ACTUALLY on ~40lbs, not 49-50 as a few have Claimed...

Factory shaft is right around 40 lbs. Our Direct Bolt In weighs 19.5 lbs complete.
