Quick update, some black to go with the yellow blaze

Night pictures aren't exactly the forte of the lens combo I was using (nor flattering for yellow blaze cars), but alas, a quick update:

The top of the side stripes will be trimmed slightly, and a 302 decal will be placed at the top (I think this will help reduce the awkward feel they have where they just arbitrarily end in the fender, I should have had competition graphics cut them like they do for the 302R cars, wording and all and just gone from there).

edit: friend posted this on facebook earlier in the evening, he randomly caught me on the highway here:

The stripes look sweet. Love the YB too! Interested in seeing the finished product.

Very nice! The 302 will really cap the stripes perfectly. As an old school guy I prefer "302" over "5.0". The YB looks great in that light, kind of a mellow sunset colot.

Ahhhh, love the YB color with black accents. 302 wording finishes the look

One of the best looking 10-11 cars, IMO. Great color, wheels, accents, etc.

Thanks a lot! I've been real iffy on the looks of this car, want to make sure the end result is a sharp clean 2011 that screams performance.

Mission accomplished, IMO.

Which wheels are those? Are they the actual Boss 302R wheels or something similar?

Blainestang, they're eurotek wheels, very similar to the RTR wheels (and in vein of the Boss302R BBS wheels)

Entered the car in a facebook contest for lethal, vote for me if you'd like and enter your own! http://on.fb.me/q4NW41

Gotcha... yeah, those are nice wheels!

Its funny how in some of those pictures the Yellow Blaze could pass for Grabber Orange.

Looks pretty good.

What about getting the hood spears that branch off to the side stripe to tie it all together so the side stripes don't look like they just hang out there? Even with the "302" at the top of the side stripe it may still look disconnected.

Nice ride

I have a 2011 YB myself. What rear spoiler is that?

That's the stock spoiler with the back-up camera in it. It's just like the stock spoiler but a bit bigger. I really like it.

I like the spoiler as well, wish it had just a bit more rear overhang. Thought about vinyl wrapping it black, but we'll see.

I'm a little late to this thread but I think even the night shots looked awesome. I'll admit I am not a fan of the '10+ rears or grilles, everything else is amazing on those years. However, the Mustangs I see here on TMS really make it hard to not admire the beauty of them. Probably because all the '10+ models I see on the streets are all stock with no attention to them like here.

Job well done.
