Haha blasphemy! But I like it way better. That and losing the extra spoiler might make me like it better than the full Saleen kit. I wonder if the diapers are interchangeable

So the SMS 302 4V has more horsepower than a standard GT, but it's slower...

those numbers are obviously wrong, a car that goes 0-60 in 4.5 sec thats not AWD is going to be faster then 13.5 in the 1/4.

It should run times very similar to the GT, the extra power might be offset slightly by the extra weight.

Hmmm...What troubles me the most is that...
"The SMS 302 4V utilizes the all-new normally aspirated twin overhead cam 5.0-liter V8 engine with over 440 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. This is accomplished with an all-new four-valve head design, a high flow exhaust system, an optimized pulley drive system, premium fuel calibration and performance filtration."

Thats a heck of a lot of upgrades for a 28hp bump. Exhaust, tune, pulley, AND new heads???

The tune alone should be good for 28hp! Looks like my '11 GT will have no mods until i can add a turbo.

Ha ha. If I had the money, I'd buy one of each. However, if I had to choose between the two, I'd definitely pick SPV's new S281. In my opinion, the SMS embodies the "same ol' Phil Frank design" whereas the new Saleen looks fresh, unique and completely badass.
