Yeah, I'm wondering that myself. I'm considering the Steeda fascia, too (among a couple others). Personally, I love the smooth, semi-gloss black OEM Mustang GT grille shell. Does anyone know if that's paint? If not, I wonder what paint and finish would closely resemble the factory grille shell, as it appears the Steeda front fascia comes with a new one.

That's why whenever I asked for a photo shop of it I asked them to not color the grille. It looks good with the stock black plastic. Plus it will match the brake cooling ducts and the chin spoiler on the Q fascia.
We need Gus to answer this because maybe the OEM one can fit over the grille on the Q fascia. Or is it all one piece?
To have it completely match, it'd have to be textured too me thinks...

We had discussed this in PM, and maybe I'm not understanding what you guys are talking about. Are you talking about the trim piece on the bumper itself for the upper grille? Or something else?

In that protoype pic you released a while back, it appeared the upper grille piece was "made into" the reast of the fascia.
So basically, would we have to paint/texture the upper grille black if we bought the Q fascia? Or is could we just put the stock OEM piece over it?

From the few pictures of seen, it looks to me like they just painted the stock grille surround body color, so if you don't want to paint your grille and leave it the stock textured black plastic, it shouldn't be an issue. Don't quote me on that though because I'm no expert, that's just what it looks like to me.

I am getting the Q series fascia and hood, but you will have to wait till around June to see it. Getting the dealer to install them before I pick it up.

Me neither... I ordered the car originally in I think Feb 2010 and won't pick it up till June. From what I've seen its a nice setup, just wondering how it will work out with the SHR quarter louvers and the rear window louver I want to install.

One of the reasons I chose the Steeda one, other than that I love the looks, is it isn't seen often. At least not on any of the forums that i frequent. Also getting the hood installed and debating on the Trufiber vented fenders.

I can't tell if they painted the brake ducts body color, or painted them like the textured black plastic on the car...
I want mine to match the black plastic

The Steeda fascia looks bad ****!!! I agree I have not seen it to often, but that is not a bad thing. Better that's its not flooded in the market and it still gives the mustang a unique bad *** appeal! The front end looks mean. Imagine that coming up behind you on the street.. It shouts "get the hell out of my way"
Great looking mustang!
