No mention of completely redone shortblock scares me. I wouldn't touch it if so.

Vividracing has the best price for HRE's..you guys can look for yourself. These are for Porsche sizes but the sizes used on the Steeda are similar.

I'm running about 550 at the crank with 11 pounds of boost and I'm just fine. I think its the maximum acceptable level that I would be willing to go. I'd be curious to see if there is any kind of a warranty, because I highly doubt it. I'd hate to spend probably $60k for a car with no warranty. I know I'm taking chances with mine, but its a chance I'm willing to take.

Sorry, man, I wasn't questioning the price you quoted. I was just using the wheels as a figure to extrapolate, if you will, the overall price of the car. I had to cite my source!

The previous Steeda Q500 didn't feature any internal engine upgrades -- those were reserved for the 5.0L Steeda Q650. I'm willing to bet that Steeda uses the same Ford Racing/Whipple tune that comes supplied with the "High Output" supercharger kit.

Oh don't sweat it...I didn't mean it that way. I was using Vividracing's website to back up your point that this car is going to be expensive. You have to wonder in the scheme of things would you just be better off in getting a GT500 as most of the parts are already there, especially is the 2011 has the al. block 5.4.

A 325/35/19 would be just under 27" (OEM) at 26.77" along with the 285/35/19's at 26.73". Granted these sizes aren't available with the NT05's but they are available with the Invo's.

Dave
Should be 315/35/20, not 355... typo there.....

I dont want to know how much they cost either... .LOL

The front bumper should be ready in late spring of this coming year, I'm estimating sometime in April.

The 2 cars we've done those on so far used prototypes made out of fiberglass, final product should be urethane like our 05-09 pieces for the same great fit and finish.

Won't find them on the site, that was a custom job on the stock seats.

We've been offering such upgrades in our Q cars for years... this was a slightly different job with the Alcantra leather. I'll have to find out but we normally used to get around 1500 for front and rear seats installed and we would only do it at our facility. The Alcantra I believe would be quite a bit more.....

Let me dig around on that.....

Gus, got any better pics of the rear end? I thought I saw a nice diffuser on there. Glad to hear you're making them too, I'd definitely add these to my GT when I get it.

I believe it has the gt500 rear diffuser. But it doesn't hurt to see more pics of the steeda q550.

Best front fascia yet for the '10+

Anything to get rid of the 'diaper' on the back of the GT. One of my biggest gripes about the car. I love the simple look of the diffuser.

Gus,

It said it used a carbon fiber back? How much weight does this remove from the stock seat assembly? I'm not sure I can afford it but I would like to know either way. $1500 installed isn't bad when you add up in your head what the switch to racing seats would cost, might be worth the drive if you can get some pricing on something like this.

Okay, take your time, if all goes well, I should have a '11 Mustang by then!

Ok, I was wrong on this one.... here is the scoop.

Those were Cobra Misano seats with additional work done to them on top of how they come out of the box. We had the Cobra name removed and recovered some of the leather. Plus we had to do something that had to do with the removal of the side airbags. This was for show purposes only, as it would be too pricey to do on normal production, although if someone wanted it, we could do it for them.

As done for the show car you are looking at about 4,600 for that set up.
