Woodward 2012

You'll recall a camoflaged 2010 mule was prowling the streets of Woodward back in 2008 (was it REALLY that long ago??!!??).

Do you think there's a chance we'll see any 2015 prototypes at this year's Cruise?

Personally, I reckon we'll see the IRS mule again, but a "bodywork" mule is a bit premature........that one I reckon we'll see at the 2013 Cruise.

Back in 2008......

I'd say anything is possible but I'm not holding my breath.

2008 camo car was a refresh of S195, not much beyond styling to hide from the fans. S550 has a lot more to conceal, and I think this year might be too soon for Ford to be comfortable with knowledgeable people hanging around it at the Cruise.

S197......a slip of the fingers, I'm sure

I think you're probably right. But I'm getting restless for the next installment

Yeah, the leaks are slow coming. But we still have sooooo long to go, yet. I don't think we'll see too much in the next 6 months... Maybe a year. I hope I'm wrong.

At least a year...probably 18 months

On a side note..in that pic...I sure wish GM would make the Vette look like that again.

Yeah unfortunately Gm is committed to making the Corvette look like a Ferrari instead of a Corvette.

Source.

Not to mention some of the most loose-lipped engineers who sourced a journalist enough time to mock up the whole **** car and post it online almost two years before it's unveil. I'd say the C7 design is the worst kept secret in the GM lineup right now.

Pretty sure we all knew the Corvette was always trying to be a Ferrari. The C6 being its closest attempt so far. But say what you want about Corvette, it's a far greater value than any Ferrari and Ford makes nothing like it. It's the only bucket and four post sports cars with a transaxle most people can dream of owning. And rightfully so I just don't have a need to pounce on it.

Not saying you guys were pouncing on that issue but as for the styling, obvious Corvette has always been obvious.
