Who on TMS will be the first to recieve a 2015 mustang.

The 13-14 is an awesome mustang, performance and style wise but I don't think there would be any regret with the 2015. Bang for the buck the 13-14 is your best bet but the 2015 is absolutely stunning in person, more so than the 13-14 IMO The 14 and 15 mustangs are both pretty equal as far as performance goes in a straight line but not everyone bases they're purchase thoughts on that. You cannot go wrong with a 2014 or 2015 mustang. Some people just want the newest trend.

But at the same time there are a LOT of people out there like me, who think the S550 looks too "fusion coupe" like, and that the S197 was waaaay better looking. I've seen quite a few now in person living in the Detroit area, and I'm not seeing the appeal of the new car. It does not look like American Muscle Car anymore. The front is too fusion like, the side looks good, and the tail is hideous. I was waiting to see how the performance aspect turns out before i make my final decision on how I feel about it. You'd expect the new car to be noticeably better in that department. But it is not.
What do people look for in a muscle car or sports car? Looks and performance. And in my humble opinion the S197 is better looking, and quicker than the new car. So that's a double fail for the s550 in my opinion.
But beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so I'm sure a lot of people like the new car just fine. Just sucks that it's slower than it's predecessor.

Hey Sonic, I think you're right that the s550 will attract a different crowd, and those into "must have the west thing" will also be interested . I am completely unbiased being as I am looking at 14s and 15s (not quite sure I want to pay the price of the 15) but hold on, why would Ford make the newer model slower than the previous model? It seems the 15 will be faster around the track but I think there should be more actual track comparisons to say the 14 is faster!

Saw a 15 5.0 for 35k! 6spd manual in black. Looks like they aren't gouging the prices! Do all of them come with recaros? The two 5.0s I saw had the recaro seats. I must add that the wheels that come on the 5.0 are ugly IMO.
