Is anyone else really anxious to see a full car in this color? I feel like the color simulation on Fords 360 view just isn't going to do it any justice.

The optimistic conspiracy theorist in me, has me wondering if it could turn out to be a Mach1 only option and perhaps this is why we haven't seen it?

While we're at it who else is missing their favorite color so far?

Thanks for the heads up! I guess I was expecting front page coverage for it and hadn't been digging as I should've.

The lighting and picture quality still leaves a lot to be desired but you know, beggars..

 

God those picture are terrible, you can't tell anything from them.

 

that thread starts out with really badly lit night time pictures and then has some on an overcast day but very low quality that seem like they've been resized a hundred too many times. google has not returned anything better.

Looks pretty good, but DIB is so far topping my list
Althought Guard and Black are very close to the top as well. I need to see all the colors in person to make a decision

 

I've always liked orange, but I'm a sucker for metallics. If the orange had a slight pearl metallic to it I would jump on it, like the lambo' orange if anyone has seen it? Kinda has a hint of yellow or red depending on the light.. Wish I knew what it was called, it was jaw dropping in person.

but back in the real world, Guard or Magnetic could easily sway me from a flat orange.

unfortunately I'm really underwhelmed by how it looks so blown out in that lighting.

 

Ha, the color was amazing to me, it had like this sunburst orange to it, like it was glowing. I fear without the lighting it would lose that pop. We'll see. Also this is the first car I really like the Gloss black wheels on.

 

I only wish Competition Orange would look like it does in that video. If Ford were to offer a Pearlescent Metalic color that changed (Like Mystachrome) from a Red, to Orange, to Yellow the way it looks like in that video that would look FANTASTIC on this car. Sadly I think Competition Orange is going to fall flat (pun intended) and will look too Red for My Taste.

 

I don't mind a sunburst effect, I just see a lot of coral pink

 

I kinda like the color..it's kinda out there!

On a side note: the pony on the rear looks way better then the V8 GT logo.

 

I have mixed feelings about the GT trunk logo, I don't mind gloss black wheels but I dislike those style of wheels compared to some of the others we have seen.
