What happened to the S550 Solid Rear Axle assembly (Ford Motorsports SRA)???

What happened to the S550 Solid Rear Axle assembly (Ford Motorsports SRA)???

I did some searching around...so far, I haven't found anything.

I swear that a year or so back, there was talk that Ford would offer a bolt-in Solid Rear Axle assembly for the S550, presumably for the guys who want to go drag racing.

Did I dream this? If not, did it ever come out?

I haven't read anywhere that Ford would offer this.........but that didn't stop some on the internet wishing they would.

The nearest you'll get is the SRA in the Cobra Jet

You can get a 9 inch IRS conversion, SRA need not apply. Guys are making the IRS work for drag racing.

Your not crazy. I remember reading that as well. Pretty sure it one of those sit down pieces with ford.
