Is it me or have the last several years been filled with multiple blue-purple's and reds and gray-silvers?

We need Screaming Yellow, Legend Lime, Windveil Blue and Highland Green back!

 

Well, Sonic and Kona Blue do have a strong red element making them have Purple-ish high lights in the sun. Deep Impact Blue I do not think has so much red in it but it does have great depth and some red high lights. Vista Blue was just Medium blue and it Laid there like a fish. Never liked Vista blue.
Point is we have One of these blue per run not multiples. like the Greys. But I do agree we need a strong Yellow, The Dark green Metallic from 68 that was used on the Shelby's. A good orange like Calypso Coral, and yes even thought I do not care for them, if the past sale dictate then Legend lime and Wind Vale Blue. Although I rank Wind vale blue with Silver and grey myself.

P.S. Kinda forgot about Grabber Blue. Looked great on the 69 Boss 302 but I have never really loved it on the newer cars.

 

I actually kinda like the current Grabber Blue but I do not like Gotta Have it Green and I'm a big fan of Greens. I like Ginger Ale that's being used in other Ford models.

 

Metallic white pretty please. Or a blue similar to deep impact only with no purple.

 

Can't go wrong with Acapulco blue. Check this one out, this is my previous '69 Mach1.

I love grabber blue, but it seems to work on some Mustangs (like this one behind mine) and not in others. Weird.

 

I like your blue, also the sonic blue on 03-04 mustangs. Bullitt green, and continue a maroon color.

How about more options on striping for all the colors.

 

 

I know what colors i want but it all depends on the design of the next gen which is still under wraps. Certain colors will fit and some will not. All depends on the lines, proportions, accents, etc.

Obviously all of these would never happen, but it would be nice if Ford gave us all the options, since this is supposed to be moving upmarket, and with the options list on other euro premium coupes, it would make sure you rarely see the same car as you coming or going. Ugh I would love to see some of these combos, even on the S197!

No grabber blue? = fail

 

It's because GB needs contrast. It's too in your face to stand on its own. Some black or white stripes help to break it up. It's one of the main reasons I opted for the glass roof.

I have the same thoughts on GHIG

Its just so bright you gotta have black accents to really pull the color together with the overall look. Although i will say GB and GHIG are some sexy azz colors!

 

My first choice would easily be Ivy Green. (Highland Green for you '68 fans)

A dark blue that's actually blue would be my second choice. Ford hasn't offered a dark blue
in years. Blurple is not blue!
