I personally think this would be a cool color on the Mustang. Porsche calls it Macadamia Metallic Brown.

I've always thought a nice metallic brown would look great on the 2010+. They're all the rage right now with luxury makers too.

 

I agree, but it would need the right shade of tan for the interior to go with it. I don't think the current options would work, unless you went with Charcoal.

 

Comp Orange. On a mass produced model that is.

 

Imagining a standard Boss 302 in that brown, the black stripes/accents and with the black wheels would look pretty sexy. It's not a very well known color but I have seen it on quite a few Porsche's when I lived in south Florida and it looks amazing. It's a color that really pops in the sun, much like Kona Blue does.

 

Not sure if it'd be anything I'd want, but historically there was a rare, special-order brown(ish) color available for Mustangs called Chestnut Metallic.

A bit lighter than the brown posted above, but it doesn't look terrible, in my opinion. There was a '70 Chestnut Metallic Mustang for sale locally but it was pretty rough. Probably the only one I'll ever see.

 

Was never a fan of Browns but this is almost Bronze. Looks good with black stripes.

I seen a black fusion the other day with some pretty heavy metallic in it and I thought that looked pretty good.

 

I saw a grabber blue 5.0 today w/ orange stripes and it looked surprisingly good

 

I think I would like that since i'm a gators fan. Lol. Even if it's a lighter blue. I'd rock that.

 

1) Metal-flake Copper. It might not be traditional Mustang but sure looks good with cream / tan / black interior or stripes.
2) A darker Metal-flake Green.
3) I also like the brown / bronze too.

 

cool-2 things cemented the mustang in my mind as the dream car when I was a kid...saw Bullitt at the drive in, and Christmas of 1970 I got a 'sizzlers' laguna wide oval racetrack- it came with a trans-am-dont recall the color that my brother or friends could play with, and a brown boss 302 that was 'my car'... thankyou for posting that picture- seriously hadnt thought about that in near 40 years! it looked just like the real car pictured

 

That Boss color reminds me of Emberglow from 1966. Another fave.
