Valet mode needed

The New Challenger SRT has a valet mode that limits the power of the engine, forces traction control to be on, limits the RPMs and does 2nd gear starts. Start at 1:39.

Would love to see something like this in the Mustang!

The Mustang has had these features for awhile now. They're called MyKey. Just have to program the spare key to limit speed, rpm etc.

Valet mode and MyKey are very different. I thought about making a MyKey for when I needed to valet my ST, but I'd have to buy another key at several hundred bucks and remember to keep it with me. Also, MyKey is designed for giving to your teenager not the valet guy. It's to teach good habits like putting on your seat belt and not running out of gas (muted audio till seatbelt fastened, earlier low fuel warning) It can't limit engine power or limit max revs. Even with all the MyKey nannies on, I can rev my car to 6000 rpm and dump the clutch. And the lowest you can limit the top speed to is 80 mph; at least on the ST. I think the manual showed a 65 mph limit for the new Mustang. Which is still much faster than any valet guy needs to be going.
What I'm talking about is something that significantly limits the car and can easily be turned on and off without a special key being needed. It would also be nice if valet mode locked out access to the trunk and center console.

I say limit to 2-3k rev, 15mph max speed, all nannies turned on, access only to 1st and 2nd gear. Maybe 3rd idk

The 2015 Mustang has a Valet Mode. See Page 343 of the recently leaked manual.

That's just the MyFord Touch valet mode that MyFord Touch has always had. It's basically useless. It just prevents them from changing your radio stations or seeing your home address on the nav screen. It does nothing related to the car itself... it won't even force traction control to stay on.

I am like Jay Leno if I can't park the car myself I'm not eating there period. If I obsoletely have to eat there for any reason or have to stay in a hotel that only offers valet parking I'm taking my 4 cylinder Equinox and let them have fun with that.

As much as I do agree with this... I would still like a valet key. And I'd agree with the limiting RPM, limiting speed, Safe Mode Engine characteristics stuff.

Eating in downtown Houston... sometimes parking yourself on a nice date night is impossible. Plus, I'd like to think the valets get a bigger thrill from the Ferraris, 911s, and R8s.
