So I'm shopping for a 2015 Mustang for my wife. She wants an ecoboost premium, auto, no other options. Best I've come up with so far is $29,263 before the $500 incentive. Versus MSRP $31,320 (including destination). X plan price for the same build is $30,079 before incentives.

Seems like a good enough deal to me, given that it's a new, desirable model. I don't have a ton of experience with car buying, though, so I was curious if any of you had any thoughts on around what might be the best possible deal on an ecoboost premium auto.

Given that she wants the premium package, 29 to 30K is about the best deal you're going to get.

Last time I bought a new car it was a 2004 Prius, back when the wait list for any Prius was months. MSRP was a good deal.

Coincidentally, driving a Prius for a decade is a great way to appreciate sportier cars, because after being so used to such little power, well, the torque of any car with a decent engine now feels indulgent!
