Trunk cargo net
I want to start carrying my basic toolbox with me in my new 2015 mustang.
There is no way I'm going to let it slide around back there.
I have the premium package, so there is the sub in the passenger side.
There is a nice "cubby" on the other side of the trunk that my toolbox should fit in.
I'd like to get a spider net to hold the toolbox, and anything else I decide to carry.
Has anyone found something that works, and looks good? I've done some web searches and have found some that might work.
I'm NOT going to pay $60 for the Ford OEM cargo net when I can get the same basic thing for around $20 or less. Besides it goes across the trunk and not along the side like I want.

Maybe I'll just put it back there and see how it does for a day.
It is hard plastic, so I think it will move more than a tool bag, but if I drive like I think my granny would I should be good.

Don't have things in the trunk that can and will move no matter how careful you plan on driving.
Put Velcro on the bottom of your box and on the carpet for a temporary fix. It's still not safe, if you slam on your brakes or hit something it becomes a missile.

OK, that Velcro idea is a good one, and I think I have some scraps about here somewhere too. I think just on the bottom of the box will be enough though.
I understand the missile idea, also why I want it in the cubby.

Had a friend who lost his life when a car ran a stop sign & hit the vehicle broad side. He was driving a P/U, an item (Lumber) in his bed pierced the cab, it was the reason he died...Freak accident, but not uncommon.
I have a cargo net in the trunk of my Bullitt. I think I paid $30 or $40 for it on Amazon. Check there. It's worth the price if you keep a decent amount of stuff in there. I have a toolbox, car duster, wheel duster, mini vacuum for the interior, etc.
It is a nice looking piece though, and does seem to get plenty of attention at car shows oddly enough.
Go with a soft sided utility bag for your tools and stuff it down where the spare aint. Assuming you don't have one. That's what I did. Hammer, two adjustable wrenches, channel locks, Vise grips, screw driver with multiple tips, tin snips and a small foldable saw. I don't plan to use them on the car, just the tools I often need when out and about.
Not that I've seen Glenn, at least not towards the back seats. That's what I used in my old rig. I've thought of adding a hook or such, but don't want to punch holes in the nice interior.
I've seen them, but like SplitSecond and tony2014mustang mentioned, have not found them at a reasonable price.
I have thought of that too MuddyLX. But then I have to trim down the current box, and buy the bag. And if I ever get to carry a spare (will a 19" rim AND tire fit in the space?) then I'll be back in this same situation.
