They're Coming!!
They're Coming!!
Spoke to my local dealer in NY and was told they have a 2015 Mustang coming in within the next 5 days. Since I have a test drive on Oct 4 that's a good thing. I have called other dealerships in the area and I'm getting all different dates. One of the larger ones told me they wouldn't be getting them til late November - which I find hard to believe. I know the guy at my local dealership personally so he checked and told me it's "in transit" status which would mean within 5-7 days. I work for Toyota so I understand what the status means.
How about other places? Call your dealerships and let's see when these cars will actually be there and on sale

Pretty sure he is going to say EcoBoost :-)
All kidding aside, if the car is anywhere where roads are going to be covered in snow in the coming months - the car is not going to sell very quickly. At least that's my experience living here in the North East region.

Not the case here, its AL and we might get a few days of snow each winter but for the most part its rain and cold, maybe some ice here and there. It's a part of the country where you can drive Mustangs year round. And no its not an ecoboost, it's a GT. As far as I know they haven't taken delivery of an ecoboost yet.

Have a look.

Course it does say MSRP so heck they just might be jacking the price when you get there for all I know. Haven't been down there to see the cars yet.

No markups, they're going for list price. Have a look. http://www.woodyandersonford.com/Hun...&Model=Mustang
True enough, it wouldn't surprise me if they try to play games with the price when you actually get down there. Dealerships wonder why people don't like car dealers.

Spoke with their online-chat rep, and that's what she said, and that they're not due till some time in October
Got it. I had not personally been down to the dealership to see for myself as I have no interest in buying a 2015. I just assumed if they were claiming it in their inventory on their website that they should have it in stock. Yet another example of why you can't trust dealerships.

Sometimes the cars are on the lot, sometimes they're weeks away from being there.
Either way, the cars will eventually be in their inventory, so they list so the customers can see that they will be able to get that car there.
Lots of cars are sold on their way to the dealership ... the customer will test-drive the car on the lot, but buy the incoming car because of color/options being different
Cotus is showing the first 15's listed at 32K are awaiting shipment. A few others are in production now.
While those aren't there, apparently some are on lots now!
