What's the deal with how the motor looks, I never understood this. Sound I get, car in general I get . Personally I would prefer no cover let it sit in it's mechanical glory for what it really is. The only time you can see the motor is when changing the oil or looking for issues.

I also like the 5.0 engine cover on the '11-'14s. It is nicely styled. The one in the '15 seems less "designed" to me as well.
I'd be excited if there was a little more "finish" to the materials, but I think this is the look. As much as I love the 2015, I like the underhood appearance of the '11-'14s better than the '15. The '15 looks less "nicely laid out" to me.

If that is from the Charlotte Banquet I am pretty sure I saw him taking the photo, hehe. Don't forget about the Pony under the hood's sound dampening they revealed during the Banquet. Maybe it (and the other hidden ponies) will help make up for the engine cover?

...and I thought the umbilical cord sound tube was bad.
Look at that mess plugged into the intake tube!!? lmao
Can't believe it comes with a line lock lol.
Meanwhile see what happens when you going into ford for warranty work and tell them you were doing a burnout.

Right, seems like Ford is going all out on this car!

Don't really care for the overflow tank or the engine cover. It definitely looks cramped in there & dare I say not very uniform.
I'm sure the reality of the improved performance will be the trade off!

BTW, what did the link above show? Let me know. I'm working all day (assuming the antibiotics I'm currently on for my messed up small intestines don't make me feel more sick than I already do )

You rang? Sorry for the delay buddy, we are closed on Sundays and since it was Easter, I had NO TIME to check the site. I clicked on the link you posted, but nothing was there. I keep checking every day for the order guides and still nothing yet. The day they are live on my dealer site, I will post them for everyone here (and I'm sure other websites who monitor this site as well).

It was 5 Oh Brian.
I'll post up some great details tomorrow (unless Jeff/05FordGT beats me to it).
2015 Mustang order banks are visible to us dealers now (have been for several days).
The 2 biggest reveals I've seen in the order banks are 1) that the limited edition 50th Anniversary GT gets its own unique body code (P8R instead of just P8C like a regular GT coupe), and 2) there is a Shelby offering showing in there (body code P8J).
Again, I'll post up some great info tomorrow (today is a family day, so I don't have time to list what I've learned right this minute).

I got good info I will post momentarily!!! Prices on options of the car and codes for said opitons. I don't have pricing on the car itself (base pricing), but its a start. The way the CONCEPTS order system works, if the car isn't abie to be ordered, they won't price it out entirely. But I can use the help screen to find out options (and codes), and pricing of the options, as well as paint codes.
Good stuff I found out and I will start a new thread shortly.
