Specification differences for 2015 Mustangs sold overseas
I've been paying close attention to the spec requirements for 2015 Mustangs that will be shipped to Europe (Germany) and I've come up with at least 1 difference the exported 2015 Mustang will definitely have. I read the tri-bar rear lights won't fire off in sequence like the stateside stang. Anyone care to speculate what some other differences might be ? I read on this forum that the Mustangs exported to Asia will have rear window wipers. I wonder if German specs (TÜV) will require the fog lights to be in a different location to the front turn signal.

For the UK, at least, it'll need amber rear turn signals (I'm hoping clever use of the LEDs means it'll still appear red when not in use).
If we get HIDs, they'll need to have self leveling and headlamp washers. If we only get halogens, I'll be

does anyone know if the european Mustang will have folding outside door mirrors ? Most late model cars in europe have collapsing outside mirrors because streets are narrow and garages are smaller than in states.
I am curious about the amber turn signals, myself. Listening to Dave Pericak in that Jay Leno's Garage special, he mentioned the placement of the reverse lights being intentional to avoid breaking up the design of the taillight housings. If that's the case, I suspect Twin Turbo is on target with assuming the amber turn signals will come in the form of LEDs.
If they make a tail light housing with an amber section of the housing, that could make for an interesting subtle modification for the US enthusiasts to try to get their hands on...

I wonder if some of these "oversees" options might also make it Stateside in some way, i.e., rear wiper and headlight washers as part of some "weather package" for example?

Sequential tail lights are actually illegal in some European countries, and amber turn signals are required across the EU.
Here's a 2013 Mustang with EU legal tail lights. Notice it has a separate turn signal setting for the countries that do not allow the sequential lights. (40 seconds)

I don't see how rear wipers are desireable in any way. The headlight washers do look cool on some cars. i.e. Saabs and older Benz.
