I ordered a 2015 convertible with the PP and summer tires. It comes with the tire repair kit, no spare. This will be my year round daily driver. I live in NYC and do see snow sometimes. I heard an 18" spare tire wouldn't fit over the Brembo Brakes and also the PP comes with stock 19" wheels. On the other hand, a 19" spare tire wouldn't fit in the spare tire wheel well in the trunk, maybe I can put it on top of the carpet but it'll move around. I want a spare tire for long road trips but just use the tire repair kit for short commutes to work. What's the best spare tire option for the 2015 Mustangs with the PP 19" wheels?

 

I just spoke to a rep. from American Muscle and he told me the 18" spare from a 2012 Mustang, will fit the rear of a 2015 PP ecoboost, can anyone confirm this?

 

Yes it will fit fine. Just an extra wheel change, should you catch a flat in the front
