Side Graphics
Thinking about putting some side graphics on the 'stang. Either the hockey stick or the reverse C type. I'm on the fence on what color. The color of my ride is Magnetic. So I'm thinking either some sort of red/dark red or silver/silver metallic. What do you all think would be the best color? I do have the redline interior. So I'm leaning towards some type of red.

Hmmmm.....
As someone who didn't care for the S550 initially (but now feels otherwise), I'm not sure that full graphics enhance it's appearance, and perhaps even detracts from it, with a few exceptions: the Saleen which incorporates the 302 as part of the fender hash-style decals, the GT350 which begs for over-the-top stripes, and the signature Roush graphics. In-your-face Mustang work well with graphics. But the lines of the regular production GT, V6, and EB are elegant enough to stand alone.
Just my personal opinion of course.

I have an odd approach to stripes. I see a lot of Mustangs that I think look absolutely awesome with stripes, yet I don't want any on my own car. I'd do stripe-delete if I had a Shelby, yet I like a lot of cars I see on the site and elsewhere that are striped.

I got them off eBay.
A number of outfits offer the hood spears but all the ones I have seen are either one solid stripe or a thick stripe with one thin stripe. These are the first that I have seen with the thick center with a thin on either side that ties in nicely with same configuration on the side stripe.
The side stripe is very similar to the stripe that comes with the wheel and stripe package on the Ecoboost base, mine is a little wider and better fills the raised flat area on the lower part of the car.
I am very satisfied and have received nothing but compliments.

DIB with hood stripe and side pony
Hi.
Hope you all like it. Thought about this and looked at all the ideas posted. I am very happy with how this turned out. This was custom vinyl that was put on just before the car was ceramic coated, wheels off, interior and top as well. Also put Xpel on windshield. Love the Xpel as it really cuts night glare, especially in the rain. The stripes are in 3m satin pearl white. This work was done by Wilde Art in Buffalo, NY. The ony reason I can think for the top being up is that it was below 60F out.
