S+ mode vs S on Auto Trans
Hi guys
What is the difference between S+ mode (selected with mode toggle) and the S on the auto shifter? If your in S+ mode - what's the difference between D vs S on the auto shifter?

The toggle switch affects steering effort, throttle response, Traction control, stability control and the transmission. The Gear shift position will only affect transmission.
I test drove an Ecoboost Premium w/ Auto and this is what I remember.
If you are in Toggle S but Gear D, the paddles will only partially control the transmission. It will respond to downshifts, but once you hit the upshift paddle, it goes back to full auto. Though it will hold lower gears longer.
If you are in Gear S, and use the paddles, you have manual control until you put it back to D.
I'm sure an owner can give you more details. (And possibly correct my incorrect memory).
