My car developed a rear squeak when going over uneven / bumpy road services. i had assumed it was suspension related but I found a thread on another forum to check the rear seat latches / hinges. I put the rear seats down, took it for a drive and no squeaks! A few shots of lithium grease on the latches / hinges cured it. I'm glad I didn't waste time and money chasing a suspension problem.

 

thanks for that thought .... I have a bunch of squeaks coming from the rear in my old 2010 and this would be a good test to help figure out where they are coming from

 

Never thought about the rear seat latches/hinges until you had just brought it up now... Meanwhile, thank you very much, as the info provided will indeed save many of us from wasting time and money chasing down a suspension rabbit hole...
