Quick photoshop job - pony delete (grille)

Just did this real quick in iPhoto. Car looks SO much better without the pony emblem in the grille. Combine this with a faux gas cap in the rear and I think I'm sold.

Looks geat, I think the rear would look better just plain, also remove the 5.0 badges. Sleeper.

Here's another quick iPhoto job of the rear GT emblem blacked out. I agree that it looks better without it. I'm not good enough with Photoshop to do one with the faux gas cap or else I would.

It's amazing how much better such minor little differences can make. It boggles my mind that Ford decided to put the running pony emblem in the grille for the V6 and GT models. For the last 10 years that look has been associated with the V6 Mustang. Why on Earth would anyone want that look on their GT? I don't get it.

I don't think the pony looks bad. I just prefer the clean look.

What are you taking about? There has been a pony in the GT grill for years. The red GT mustang at the top of this website has a pony in the grill.

The grill would look so very good if it were an aluminum wire mesh grill. I can see the aftermarket making such a product.

Yes there has, but the GT had fog lights in the grille as well. Only the V6 Mustang has just the pony emblem in the grille. It just reminds me of a V6 Mustang when I look at it. Plus it looks so much more menacing without the emblem in the middle of the grille.
