I'm hoping, if I post this rendering enough times, Ford will ensure this becomes the 2015 Mustang

(every time I see it, I get a certain stirring!)

I wrote this up for AM's blog if you want to check it out! Put in a vote whether it's hot, not, or whatever.

I personally like the silver rendering.

I figure either Ford's gonna kill it or make it too darn european looking for their new "World" Mustang as they call it. They want appeal for the car all over the world...hence the ecoboost 4 cyl as the base engine... This is why I ordered a 2013. too many will fight for a 50th anniversary edition...and the future lloks pretty weird from where im sitting. The GHI Green will be fine for the next 10 years for me....

I'm scared of the "too European work". If I do like it I'll wait till the 2016. But if not it'll either be a 2004 cobra or a 2013.

"Too European" doesn't bother me because it simply means the Mustang is going back to its roots. What some people are calling classic "merrikan" styling was originally Ford's attempt make a cheap, affordable, European-inspired sports car with some Lincoln Continental thrown in too.

Agreed. Plus it may become a tad more European (sophisticated) but options, engines and special editions will ensure it is American at it heart. Which is great because that's the kind of Mustang the rest of the world wants to buy. Everyone wins.

I still hope its more like the Evos concept. That with some pony's would be on kick'n car.

Truth spoken here. The Gen I Stang was a sort of fusion of European and American traits, it certainly wasn't a "muscle car," that created a new niche, the Pony Car. That a 2015 Mustang return to its more cosmopolitan roots would be, I think, a very good thing and true to the Mustang's soul.

I dont like the shaping under the quarter panel window. Oddly it reminds me of a Ford Focus.

Funny, because that's one of my favourite aspects, and it's a different take on the "hips" of the 64-68 models. In fact, it reminds me more of the subtle fins on the 60's Thunderbirds

The silver model looks too much like the current car. The 2015 needs to be a whole new design, a fresh redesign. I love the current models but i cant wait to see something completely different.
