Next Mustang my idea

I have thought about posting this for a while now. After reading several previous threads I looked at dimensions of past Mustangs and picked the shortest length and narrowest width. That is the 1971 length and 1980 width which would be 175" x 67".
This morning I did some further research only to find that these dimensions are extremely similar to the corvette and the BMW M3.
This gives less weight and less air resistance.

Do you mean the 1974? that one I would guess would be the shortest.

You have to remember that you need to fit all the required safety equipment in these cars. That's part of the reason so many cars have bloated in size in the last 10 years.

Yea 74 that was a typo in this iPhone small keyboard

But what was surprising was the similarity to the BMW and Vette.
So getting the safety stuff in there has already been done

The BMW is manufactured in Germany, and costs 2x as much. The Vette is supposed to be a much smaller car.
