Chill, it'll be a slow striptease. Right now, she's a little shy. Give her time.

From that video, it definitely looks like it has a lower profile.. More sleek

I doubt that's the GT it must be the GT500, GT350, Mach 1 or what ever top of the line mustang.

Sounds eerily similar to my GT500s + Boss H (open) exhaust setup. I know we've seen underneath of some of these mules, but maybe this one is different?

Side pipes with electric cutouts from the factory? I'd hit it!

Maybe it's a V6 that has been specifically engineered to sound identical to the current 5.0 lol

Hard to tell with a prototype -- might be testing other components and running with a cobbled exhaust -- but yeah, this one does tickle the ears and Ford could make far worse mistakes than having the production car burble like this.

Hopefully they'll expend a bit of effort to give the V6 a tuneful voice too as that seems to get overlooked or merely made inoffensive at best, which generally means bland.

Sounds great! Pretty good view of the headlight through the camo near the end there. You can definitely see that the round look is being kept.

think the third brake light will stay in the top of the rear window? seems weird, could just be temporary..

V6 buyers do not want a loud car.

It would be a mistake to make the V6 have a more aggressive exhaust note than it already has.

Wonder what they would do if when they were sitting there stopped in traffic, some nutter jumped out and started ripping the camo off?

BS - V6 buyers love loud rumble exhaust. V6 will never sound as good as a V8 but with a few mods it sound pretty **** good. Get that from a factory part and I would pay the extra any day.

The only mistake is that closing the sound gap would be to further cut into the V8 sales. The 5.0 is great and I would love to have one but I am very happy with the 3.7.

agree, could be in the window to disguise (sp) the trunk line.

These are early prototypes of the prototypes you see now. They got better at hiding some of the 'equipment' on the inside of the car.

(This is a 88-90 CHP SSP Mustang)
