infact need for speed has been around long before F&F....

The Need for Speed (1994)

Main article: The Need for Speed

The original Need for Speed was released for 3DO in 1994 with versions released for the PC (DOS) (1995), PlayStation and Saturn (1996) following shortly afterwards. The Need for Speed and its Special Edition were the only games in the series to support DOS. Subsequent releases for the PC run only within Windows.

This type of promotion will almost certainly keep Ralph Nader from buying a 2015 Mustang GT.

He would never buy a '15 Mustang as it has IRS and that is what made the Corvair so "dangerous"

the only danger is going to be possibly wasting $10 on a mediocre movie

Yeah I saw that poor beautiful 69 fastback get crushed by that tank or when he jumped from one side of the highway to the other at the end...yeah right. I agree they went just a lot over board on the last one. Still beats sitting at home staring at the wall

To me a movie is like sittin in a room full of strangers invading each others bubbles staring at a giant wall that shows movies.

Its awesome!

as far as i can tell from all the previews it deals with illegal racing and such
and promoting a movie with fast cars with other fast cars is just asking for the wrong perception of the product (2015 mustang)
anyone else concerned?
Just to keep the record straight. The movie stars a 2014 mustang, not the new 2015 model. The later only makes a cameo appearance.

When they intro'd the 2012 Boss a Ford VO said he hoped to see it on Youtube breaking a few rules. I obliged. The Mustang needs an "edge".

Saw the movie last night and completely loved it! Yes it is short on story line and acting is well, fair at best, but what great car chase/race scenes. I was planing on selling my 2010gt premium and picking up a discounted 2013 Roush stage 3 but not any more. I am holding off until I can order a new GT350!

I saw it last night as well. I really enjoyed the car chases. Nice to see movie NOT heavily on CGI like so many new movies.

yup me too, saw the movie last night. I thought there would be more scenes with the 2015 mustang, maybe some racing with it. However, it stars the 2014 mustang. I was a little disappointed they didn't use the 2015 in place of the 2014 gt500. Overall it was a great movie with great racing scenes. Do you think they didn't want to use the 2015 because they didn't want to ruin it?
