My car was damaged while visiting dealer
Brought my car to the local Ford dealer to identify and correct vibration issue at 65-75 MPH. I'm going to rewind back to 2009 when I brought my 09f150 to fix a latch rattle in the door, my driver side door had a small dent and chip down to bare metal when I picked it up. This is the same dealer I brought the mustang to and had some request when I arrived do to my past experience with them. Unfortunately I didn't notice the dent until the next morning so I ended up eating the cost fix that.
So when I arrived at the dealer, I told service manager to do a thorough inspection of car for dents dings ect… I also said if tech needs to test drive I want to be in car for that. The tech needed to test drive, so we hit the highway to get up to speed and a fence company truck in front of us hit a bump and a whole bunch of small stones fell off the back…The tech slowed down and did the best he could to avoid but was unable to. When we got back to the dealer I inspected front of car to find 2 major chips in the front bumper and 1 minor one, along with the driver side headlight getting chipped pretty bad.
When the stones fell off and I heard the rocks hit, I noted the fence company and what type of truck, but was unable to read plate number. I’m just glad I was with dealer when this happened, because I doubt they would have said anything.
I called the fence co and spoke with owner and he was able to confirm his truck at that location via GPS and agreed to repair car. The cost ended up being $2300 with $1400 of it being the front headlight.
The vibration was a bad right front tire which has been fixed. Now I have to drop it off for 3 days to fix damage. The crap part is the car only has 1500miles on it and I've had it 7months with zero damage to paint, but under someone else's care it gets damaged.

Wow that does indeed stink but be glad that the damage will all be covered and you should be back to new soon.
