That's because production @ Flat Rock is no where near where they anticipated it to be by now, due to a variable plethora of assembly issues, including both factory and supplier.

We produce all the HVAC units for the S550. Right now, we are only shipping a fraction of what the originally anticipated volumes that we should have been shipping at this point - releases are fluctuating like a leaf in the wind.

I talked to a guy yesterday who works on the line at Flat Rock. He said there's a lot of down time at the moment (read: very few cars being built) while the engineers work through the bugs in the system. As he told it to me, "they (Ford) wants to get it (Anniversary edition models) right the first time". I guess that's a good enough reason for me regarding any delays.

That's fine, it gives me more time to save money to get the loan amount down.

Thanks for your post. How much proportionally would you say? 50% less? 80% less?

It would seem that the production rate is lower than anticipated, given there has been information posted about days of not producing on the forum I frequent the most.

I also understand that there are some anniversary editions in production or have been produced, but I get this information second hand, so it might not be accurate or up-to-date.

I also understand the "OK to buy" is targeted for next week, but I guess we will see what happens.

Guard Premium GT with Performance Pack ordered!

I had originally ordered an EcoBoost model, but knew I'd regret not getting a GT so I changed the order.

As of this time, I have seen anything that says "OK to buy" was given. There doesn't appear to be any parts constraints for builds that would be scheduled over the next two weeks.

This stuff changes day-by-day, so what might have been true a few days (hours) ago might not be true now.

Just sitting back and doing the wait here, like I've been since May 20

It finally came in today! As sad as I was to trade my 2010 GT, this car is an AMAZING replacement. I look forward to miles of smiles in this one.

Please excuse the dumpster in the one photo The dealership was under massive construction, so I took the photos where ever I could.

Congrats! I'm surprised the Dark Saddle doesn't include any other trim in that upholstery though. Any plans? I'd say tint, exhaust and some nice wider wheels, and call it a day!

Nice Tony!
As it happens, I finally got my VIN today. It still shows as "In Order Processing", but still, a step in the right direction!
Looking forward to more progress!
