He says he's disappointed that the track pack isn't more aggressive but that car clearly doesn't have the extra gauges that come with the "track pack".
Edit: In the comments on YouTube he corrects his mistake. It appears it was a car with the 20 inch rims and Recaro seats. He assumed that was the performance pack.

Here is what the rest of the article states
I personally like the new Mustang EcoBoost more than I like the new Mustang GT. I can’t put my finger on what it is about the EcoBoost that makes it better, but I definitely get more sensation out of the little turbocharged four cylinder than I get out of the big Coyote V8.
That said, it’s good to get a second opinion from a trusted source, so today I am bringing you a short video from MotorTrend’s Carlos Lago driving the new Mustang EcoBoost around the magazine’s Figure 8 test loop. Lago puts the hammer down pretty good, and though he’s got some complaints, the journalist comes away with the belief that this car is “good fun.” The EcoBoost Mustang performed admirably and it sounds like Carlos likes it.
However, what I really want to know is what Lago’s FitBit is recording there at the end. I’d love to see what his heartrate gets up to when he’s truly flogging the heck out of the car. Is it like a racecar driver, or is it like a normal human being?

The last time i even considered the opinion of a "magazine" writer was in 1971 when I ordered the Motor Trend Car of the Year from overseas for delivery in the US...it was the Chevrolet Vega GT. Car of the year...more like man made disaster of the year.
Fortunately, today we can do our own research before heading to the dealer(s) for the test drive. The only opinion that really matters is the person making the purchase.
