Morpace Survey shows options and power output of S550
Got a survey in the mail today that basically asked me what I would like in the next mustang. Engine options were 300hp turbo charged direct injected inline 4, a v6 and a 4.9L V8. Along with lots of other options.
I got one also, except the engine choice of the 4 cal was a 310HP,TDI and a 300 HP 6cyl with the 4.9 v8. I also noted that the base price was listed as 23,995 and the 4 Cyl Direct injected motor was an option.
I supposedly will receive a 25$ gift card for Amazon for my time.

No ! The current 5.0 Coyote is a true 302 cubic inch 5.0.. The previous push rod 302's in the fox bodies and SN-95 from 94 and 95 were technically 4.9 liters..

they gave several different prices for the 4 cyl option, from 500 to 1395, if I recall.
It listed about a 3 mpg increase over the 6 cyl and slightly more power.
The survey also listed different headlight options, heated steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, driver and passenger side 6 way power seats, lane assist and turn signals in the mirrors. there were more but that's what I remember.

Nice to see the HUD, heated/cooled seats, inductive charging, adaptive cruise, and advanced keyless to name a few. It'll be interesting to see which options are packaged together and which options are standard or standalone options.
I have yet to see a need for cruise control. I have it on four of my vehicles and never use it. Up here in Minnesota, tow truck drivers say they have pulled more cars out of ditches because the drivers were using cruise control on roads that had patches of ice on them.

"But I had traction control on!" lol

I lived the first 31 years of my life in Wisconsin. And there were plenty of days throughout the year where the roads were dry and cruise could be used. And like others have said... if you are traveling long distances on lightly traveled roads, its very easy to have speed creep up on you.
