Mirror Paint Issues

All

So I recently bought a 16 Premium Performance Pack and have noticed that there is some bad paint chipping on the side mirrors. Is this a common problem?

The is ugly my friend. I don't think it's a common problem, but sadly it is a problem with that mirror. If your car is still under warranty your dealer should be able to fix you right up. Good luck.

It still is under warantee, however the dealer quoted me about $$380 to get them removed and repainted.

If you can I suggest you talk with the General Manager of the dealer, or if possible try another dealer. You could also call Ford, and talk with them about this problem. 3/36 bumper to bumper means just that. Don't give up, your dealer is trying to screw you.

And its only going to get worse by the way its flaking, feathering off bit by bit.

Get that taken care of now while its still in the 3/36. Raise some hell with someone higher up the chain if that's what it takes.

Thanks for everyone's opinion. I ended up talking to the dealership that quoted me to get them repainted and they are doing it over warranty. I didn't think of that until you guys mentioned it. Thanks again!
