I like the ecoboost but where are all the 5.0s!!??

 

 

That's red is stunning, and as much as I love the 14 I can't help but say it looks dated next to the 2015.

 

I kinda agree. It's the roofline that hasn't changed since 2004 (05 MY). And also the plain straight side skirts. I like the 10-12 with their slight detail line on the side skirts better.

 

Of course the 14 looks dated compared to the 2015, as that is to be expected with an all new platform following the 10 year run of the S-197, otherwise we'd all be complaining about getting just another re-fresh for the outgoing 2014..

If anything looks really outdated, it's the Challenger, as it hasn't received a major face lift since being re-introduced in 2008..

At least the outgoing 05-14 Mustang went through 2 face lifts during it's 10 year production run..

I look at our 05-14 Stangs as future classics, just as the 1st generation 65-73 Mustangs are today..

IMHO the S-197 captured the spirit of those 1st generation Mustangs more than any other model in the Mustang's entire 50 year history, and that's nothing to sniff at nor feel bad about at all

The blacl wheels on ingot is a perfect combo. Especially with the side splitters that already come with the car.

 

Thanks!! Washing those wheels are a *****! I did them yesterday. I can't wait to get them polished and my coating on them. That will help when washing them. Ingot is my favorite color on this new body style. It shows the lines just perfect.

2 face lifts for the mustang. I only remember the one for the 2010. Unless you mean the 13-14 with the different bumpers and tail lights.

 

Yes John ! I also meant the 13-14 as in the different bumpers, tail lights and don't forget about the hood and front grill.. As those were also changed as well..
