Just picked up Grey Ecoboost
About 4 months ago I ordered a loaded Orange Ecoboost and Ford screwed up and lost the firm order. After 3 months of complaints to my dealer (Morries Ford) that my VIN never showed up in Cotus, I finally got a call saying that it was never ordered, however I was Priority One and was certainly in production. Still, it never appeared in Cotus until a few days ago, not as my car but as a red no-option V6! I complained to Ford Corporate with 4 separate calls (case # cas-5471143) being assured action would be taken within 24 hours after the first call. One week later all I got from Ford was that the car I had ordered would start production sometime in December. Yesterday I found a local car with similar but not all the options I wanted on a custom order, and the grey color looked great. It will probably be the last manual car I ever own because I'm 62 and not getting younger. It's going to snowstorm tomorrow and I wont have winter tires till Wednesday, so Today is the last day I can photo my Mustang and Vantage together. The contrast between driving the Mustang and the Aston is quite dramatic - you can see the height difference, the Mustang sits very tall. Still, I don't feel like sitting in a tub as I do while test driving the new Camaro (or Jag F-Type). The Aston has a firmer ride and is much tighter, but for the price I thought the Mustang was a great deal (leased it for 2 years).
I love the grey! Looks really good. I've driven an am v8 and a vanquish, which are pretty different to each other even, but you have a nice ride there. I haven't driven the new stang but you have a really nice looking combo there, with the black wheels. I'm sure you can easily firm up the ride of the mustang

I cannot believe the issues you had ordering a car. That is so ridiculous. That dealer must be extremely incompetent!! Glad you got one that was similar though. Congrats! Can I drive your AM? Lol
I came pretty close to walking away from the mustang altogether, but I'm glad I finally made the choice to jump in. I thought the gray with the black wheels look particularly good. I was hoping to order an interior with some lighter colors but the black interior as it is is not too bad.
