Oh, my Lord.
I pray you are right on the money, TN. I have said this before but I'd love to see the new Mustang be heavily influenced by the GR-1...

Wolfsburg - the main comment in that thread is this from Andreas, the rest is 4 pages about the oncoming date and speculation:
"Meine Erinnerung sagt: Flacher, Kanten wieder weniger japanisch, Quarter Window ähnlich dem 69er (nicht Shelby-like), Rücklichter dreiteilig, Heck weiter nach hinten gezogen (wie 67/68er Fastback)."
Translation:My memory says: Lower, edges less japanese, quarter window similar to the 69er (not Shelby-like), taillights separated (3), rear end pulled out the back (like 67/68 Fastback)."
This is what I made out of it (just speculation mixed with a dream of what it should be, but probably will not be, the typical kinetic touch is missing, probably more rear seat room. I guess Topnotch can do much better.

Another one to go with the first one TN posted
I like these, but would prefer to see a little more retro. I also want to ensure it remains a proper, usable 2+2.

Since I'm thinking that my next Stang will be the next generation, I really enjoy checking out this section. Last year when I was at the MCA National Show in Indy, the guest speaker at the banquet was one of the 2010 lead designers. The thing I remember was that he said that Ford had approved the final design for the 2010 when the 2005 came out. Assuming that the next major change is the 2015 and it will make its appearance in 2014, I'm thinking that whatever Ford is going to do is pretty much a "done deal"??????
