leaks
I remember hearing something during all the Explorer hype that they were all going to that "global" standard window control. They look clean and should work fine. I'd also like to see the mirror control down low like they show, maybe add some tweeters in the sail panels of the doors for added effect.
im assuming that pic is the new focus? i think the biggest thing for stang fans to note is a version of the my ford touch with a traditional tach and speedo layout with the screen in between. rather than the version on the edge and explorer with one huge speedo and smaller screens flanking it. traditional fullsize tach is a must in a sports car interior
...or, what about a variation on the Explorer/Edge theme but with a huge center tack flanked by secondary info screens?
The current Stang setup -- splayed speedo and tach with secondary info/dials in between -- tends to force smaller primary gauges (to fit within the steering wheel's sightlines) and/or a big steering wheel, neither of which is ideal, ergonomically, for a performance car.

I'm for the Jaguar display...

Wow. Just wow
I assume this would be a similar MyFord Touch setup as well? With both tach and speedo and a display in the middle. I actually prefer a single big gauge in the center. I wouldn't mind tach only, with speedo being digital or just smaller.

When we're down to discussing side mirror switches, someone needs to call for a reality check.
So I have:

Very nice. But, has anyone used a Heads UP Display (HUD). I had two cars with them, the second HUD was a more useful update of the first. It appears everything is floating just in front of the hood. It is not a distraction. Your speed, tach, NAV, and Radio controls are all there. At night you can black out the instrument panel and just use the HUD. No glare, and you never have to take your eyes off the road. If a problem occurs and the dash is blacked out, the gauge reflecting the problem was backlit in red so it stood out in the dark. You become very spoiled using a HUD and I still miss them, after 5 years. I would really have liked to see one on the Mustang.
Just curious but does anyone know what type of suspension is under the rear of the Australian V8 Supercar series road racing Falcons? Might be a bit overkill for a street car but it obviously works.
Why would we care to mark the 51st anniversary? The original Mustang came out as the '64 1/2 not 65 model year. The name of this part of the forum is 2014 - Next Generation. If you are right and they really do not want to have a newly redisigned mustang in its 50th model year of production then why do we not just rename this part of the forum 2015 - next generation?
