Congrats! And get used to waiting. For a lot of buyers it takes much longer than 7-8 weeks the dealers advertise. Mine took 13 weeks. Keep in touch with Deysha.

I guess they've improved the wait times. Back in 05 mine took four months! I was driving my wife crazy. Ordered in Feb got it in June. But it was well worth the wait. I still love it.

Yeah, it's crazy. I ordered late April and got it early August or 2013

A co-worker of mine ordered a 3-Series BMW, and including the tarns-atlantic ship journey and the wait in the customs he had his car 9 weeks later. I live 25 miles from the assembly plant!

Love my car, it was worth the wait, but the ordering process left a very sour taste in my mouth.

I really hope you guys are wrong. The 7 weeks is going to be painful enough... let alone 4 months.

I just ordered one at the end of Feb and it looks to be running about 7 weeks (was quoted 6 to 8). A lot seems to matter where in the country you are located and whether the shipment will be by rail or truck. Mine will be by truck since I am in Michigan and the estimated time between build and delivery is shorter than some of the rail shipped cars spend waiting to be loaded to leave the yard let alone the trip, rail yard exchange at the destination, and then delivery at the other end.

Congrats! My order went in on March 2nd, and I have an estimated delivery date of April 16th - much faster than the 8 to 10 weeks that the dealer promised me. It does seem that the process may be speeding up now.
