I have the cloth recaros in my 14. LOVE them. They do a great job supporting you and keeping you planted in place. They are better than I expected on long trips too. Good lower and mid back support. Even my wife loved them when we drove from Detroit to DC.

I highly recommend them.

I love the comfort of my seats, I love the "stickiness" of the alcantra styled fabric in the inserts. I am totally DISDAPPOINTED in the durability of the fabric on the seat. My car has 11K miles, I am super careful getting in and out. I literally sit down 90 degrees to the seat and rotate my body into them to avoid brushing the bolster with my body, yet the fabric shows fuzzy wear and the threads are fraying. This is a RACE SEAT? WTF?

I have Recaros in my Boss, and have to admit that I am pleasantly surprised by how much I like them. My wife really likes them too. I heard that some Recaros were made using a "bad" batch of cloth, and that those are the ones that wear really poorly, but I cannot confirm that.

My leather Recaros are the ****.
Unless your wide/fat or superfat category, then you might have a problem sitting comfortably in one.

OK guys, thanks for the heads up I will get FORD to pony up for a new drivers cover, my passenger seat gets used slightly by the wife. BTW, what numbers are your cars? My car is a 2013 and my BOSS #1121, I'm wondering when the bad seat cloth started in production.

Just wanted to ask, how does everyone like their Recaros? I am looking to order a convertible and I want to get the Recaros, will order them at a later date and get them put in. Love the way they look and the one time I did sit in them, thought they were fantastic. Thanks for the info.

Ehhhh.... Why put them in later if you like them in the first place? If you order it with the car its 1500$ option , where aftermarket cost is about 2800-3000$ not including installation. It will cost you double if you don't order them with the car.
Edit: before I sound like a dumba$s, does convertible get the recaro option? If not , disregard what I said.

I have the leather Recaros and they are amazing. My wife also loves them, a big difference over the stock seats.

I have the leathers. Wish they were grippier and/or hugged me more. I only weigh 165ish lol.

Ha, I only weigh 170 and am very grateful for the alcantara... However, I wish the backs/sides as well as the rear seats were leather. I also wish all the stitching was white or silver.

Don't you live in San Francisco? You are surrounded by some of the best food in California and only weight 165? I used to take your mod advice as some of the best on this site. Now I have to reevaluate this.

Bahahaha I love to eat! But I eat good food, and try to eat organic/non GMO when I can. I also work 10-12 hours a day, so a lot of times I drink my meals during the day, or snack with smaller meals, and binge on the weekends lol. There are a LOT of good places to eat around here, but packing up the baby and taking him to them is just a hassle sometimes.

Besides, losing weight is a mod too.

Nah, the sides rub your leg/pockets and eventually wear. Also, the backs are vinyl on the "leather" Recaros, and it does not hold up as well as the actual leather. I'll trade you covers if you want lol. I just treated them with CG leather cleaner and conditioner too
