Interior Shot
I wonder why Ford continues to swap the tac and the speedo over and over again, The tac should be on the right with the speedo on the left. I actually like the plain easy to read font of this gauge face. The current car's gauges are cool looking but not really that easy to read. Besides that I like what I see, especially the round vents in the middle of the dash.
There are a lot of buttons and whatnot, but then, a modern car has a lot of features that needs lots of buttons. At least putting them on the wheel makes them more readily accessible without having to look and reach all over the interior.
Overall, from what we can see, it looks like it's shaping up to be a nice, modern Mustang interior.
I assume you are speaking of the music functions?
Rumor on FB was the EB 4 cylinder. But who knows, we just can guess from the current tach redlines.
Oh yes. The Windows 8 kernel is flexible and powerful enough to run
Laptops
Desktops
Tablets
Phones
Xbox
The Android kernel runs what, phones? Not even Google trusts it enough to run on low end laptops, they do Chrome OS instead.
Also, from a developers prospective, using the same underlying guts makes it much easier to write code for across the line of products.

I don't see why everyone is hating on this interior, but I get it: jealousy! Because that interior makes ours look like a **** Chevy Malibu. Glad they got rid of the "retro" BS. While I like the retro exterior styling, that's where it should stop. **** gimmicks. The font is lousy sportscar wise and makes our look like a toy imho. Would've preferred the rpm gauge on the left though.
Also, is there MyColor on this new interior?
androyd iz king. /thread

I'll give it a solid "meh". I don't hate it but it's nothing special. Of course it's only part of it.
Maybe I just have high expectations because of how Ford has been hitting it out of the park with interiors in the last few years. Even the Fiesta has a great interior.

Take a look at Tesla, they're moving in the right direction as far as car interfaces go. Ford, Chevy, and Chrysler are now playing catch up
I for one am glad that the tach is on the left again.
I understand why some want it on the right, but the issue with having the tach on the right I think is not as bad as having the speedo on the right. Most Mustangs are not raced but driven, so most are watching speed, not rpm. Everyday driving with speed traps and photo radar and what not, I find it annoying that my left hand blocks the band of numbers on the speedo that are the most in use in my current car.
My guess is there were enough complaints that Ford switched it back. I say watch for the right side tach on the SVT.

tach belongs on the right side.
