Ignition coil connector 5.0L

I have had 0 luck finding the part for the ignition coil connector wire for the 2015 5.0L so I figured i'd turn here. Does anyone know the part number or the name? It is behind the cylinder cover attached to the ignition coil. I bought one on amazon but it was for the 5.4, 4.8L and does not fit. Ford OEM parts was no help either and auto zone shows me a 3 wire pigtail and this is two. Someone cut my wire clean across and I'm running on 7 cyl so I need help.

The correct part is a three wire connector pigtail. You simply don't use the middle wire (I think? Looks like it anyway, I don't have a 5.0 m'self, just researching...) You'd unpin it from the connector, or cut it short enough and heat shrink/tape/? it for safety. Ford is repurposing a three wire with a missing pin to ensure you don't plug it into an injector, which is also a nearby two wire item, my guess... or they used to use a 3 pin somewhere else, but in this harness they just use a 2... I dunno, it's a Ford. They do stuff like that sometimes.

The Ford guy got the correct part. go back and get it. Maybe take this one with you so you can completely compare, and/or take the coil with you as well. BE SURE TO MARK WHICH WIRE GOES WHERE somehow before you take that connector with you, so you don't get it backwards and mess things up.

I'd also stop driving the car because running a cylinder with no spark is gonna wash out the cylinder and possibly take out the catalytic converter. Raw gas in exhaust before cats is a really not good strategy long term... ask me how I know.

Verified at the 5:55 mark, go to that point, and you can see the three holes in the connector as he's putting in a new SR coil:

Also, here's Granatelli's site regarding their coils and tada, three wire connector: https://www.granatellimotorsports.co...ks-2391-0.html

All 2011-2015 5.0s use this. The mid 2016 apparently changed, but there ya go, hope it helps. Good luck!
