However I'm not the only one who feels the tail lights are fugly.. Perhaps you should go back and read over posts # 35 and 40 in this thread
When the new Maro hits the streets lighter and powered by the 460HP LS, GM will take this segment by a landslide. This will be bad for Ford! Enjoy this small victory for it will be short lived. GM understands enthusiast and Ford caved in to the Japanese/Euro fans and Ford will be decimated by the new Maro! This is a harbinger of things to come! Ignore the enthusiast that have been your staple and reap what you sow Ford haha!
The new Maro is going to be at the apex of performance, it will be the apex of American technology and Ford knows that> Ford forgot about the individuals "Enthusiast" that kept the Mustang going and catered to the Jap/Euro's and it will back fire on them! The new Maro looks awesome and will beat the 2015 Stang at everything! I cant wait to place my order, im so glad I didn't buy this 2015 Euro Stang! Slower and heavier than the 2014? Really? Ok! The proof will be in the numbers! But hey the ricer crowed loves the new Stang looool!
Hey man, whatever makes ya feel better. Have a great day.

Well it's like this Man ! It's all about personal preference, so if liking the Crapmaro makes you feel better ? fine, that's by your choice in which I can respect that.. However that doesn't mean that others have to feel the same way as you do..
Therefore let's just agree to disagree and leave it at that..
Have a nice day as well

Tru'dat! The 4th gen wasn't nicknamed an "engine in a box" for nothing. Passengers were an after thought and it showed as the much less capable Mustang outsold the better performing F-twins.
I agree that the 2016 Camaro will set a ne bar for entry level V8 performance when it hits. The LT engine has the power and an alpha based Camaro looks like its going to be about the same or a bit lighter in weight but I'm not sure about the decision to essentially make a 9/10th 5th gen and the issues that go along with that.
The truth is outside of an occasional drag strip or road course or the stop light drag or blast down a twisty road or highway banzai run (think I've got it all covered) most of the seat time in the car - especially If it's a daily - is commuter time or time just spent cruising and having to sacrifice comfort in the name of performance wears thin.

One new 2016 pony car will offer a V8 with a flat plane crank that is capable of over 8,000 rpm's--something formerly found only in exotics, not in mass-produced vehicles. (Hint: it is not the Camaro.) One new vehicle will offer a model with carbon-fiber wheels, an industry first for any major auto company; but it isn't GM offering the product.
However, I'm sure the new Camaro will be a good car. And, just like you, the ricer crowd is waiting with anticipation to see if the new pony car will borrow the turbo 2.0L I-4 from the ATS as well as that car's chassis.

But in all honesty I've always been a die hard Mustang enthusiast and always will no matter how much GM and Mopar happen to outperform the Mustang..
IMO there's much more to a car than who has more horsepower than somebody else, as all it is in the end is just bragging rights and as far as I'm concerned if you don't feel comfortable enough in what your driving nor fully able to enjoy the overall driving experience ? then all the bragging rights in the world don't mean squat..
As for the Camaro ? I've test driven them and the impressions I got was the feeling of sitting inside of a bunker in which I could barely see out the side and rear windows, that's how terrible the Camaro's visibility is..
And if that isn't bad enough ? How about the size and position of the gauge pod lol. another smart design move by GM.. Just imagine the thought of a disaster waiting to unfold in your head when taking your eyes off the road for just a split second while checking your gauges

And I see very little difference in the new 2016 design, so therefore GM can just keep their Camaro and I'll stick with my Mustangs..
At any rate, I've always loved the Mustang for it's affordable bang for the buck performance, it's practicality, it's sporty car design and most of all because it's an American Icon.. Those reasons alone pretty much speak for themselves IMHO..
Therefore the Mustang is much more than just a car to me, but is also an extension of my personality and has made a very huge difference in my everyday life by how I interact with people whether it's meeting them for the very first time at car cruise events or from friends and family I've been involved with all my life..
I will say this though, If my only concern alone was raw horsepower ? I would make the switch over to the 392 Challenger Scat Pack before ever making the switch over to the Camaro

Nope! The new Camaro will be faster than the 2015 Mustang! Hell my 2014 is faster! Care to make a bet? Ill bet you $100 right now!!! I get that this is a Mustang forum and there will be alot of bias! Im a car nut and not brand loyal! I know there will be heat for speaking the truth but i dont care! The fact is i wont be that guy at the end of the day that blindly follows one auto maker ignorantly! I will have my 14' Gt parked right next to my 2016 SS and love them both! Talk all the $hit in the world but GM at this point is going to take the win! Lol, pure humor!

So let the bowtie fanboys have their fun for now, because once again it will be short lived just like it was 5 years ago.. As Ford isn't just going to sit back and allow GM to embarrass them for very long
Oh and btw: Don't forget about the Challenger either lol.
