Anyone have a 2021 Mustang GT with 19” wheels that has installed MGP caliper covers? Rears are fine, fronts come very close to rims almost touch, can maybe fit a credit card through.I had to take other side off as it was rubbing slightly now have to figure out how to make it fit.Any ideas?
I mean, honestly, if they don't fit and you can't adjust... the only thing you can do is shim the wheels or start cutting/grinding things, and I wouldn't suggest the wheels...
Other thing is to try calling MGP maybe? Or swap wheels out...
I knew they were close when installed but turned freely for 6 months then heard a slight scraping while going slow,LF ok but close,RF just took off,too busy, going to try tomorrow to do something maybe some filing of cover, not wheel,I can see on cover where a slight scraping has occurred.Just wondering if someone else had a similar problem.thanks for ur input!
I agree, take the off. They will likely also make you brakes run hotter than they would. I would be concerned with brake fade around my neck of the woods, but Florida is pretty flat as I recall. .
